Confused about all the additional costs when buying property

Postby simonwjones » Wed Mar 08, 2006 11:53 pm

Dear All

My partner and I are looking at buying a one bed apartment in Cyprus, not sure of which area yet. The property will be £55-£60,000 CYP.

Please can somebody help me? I would like to know what the costs that I will come up against. Solicitors fees, stamp duty, property tax and Immovable Property Tax.

Are the costs £1000 CYP for solicitors fees, £90ish Stamp Duty, £2500-£3000 property tax and Immovable Property Tax is £nil.

Am I well off the mark? Please help!!!!!!! :D
