RW why have you not put a claim at the IPC and see what they offer. They would have offered you a TC property in the south, so at least you have a home and then see where we end up if indeed there is an agreement.

I must be one of the luckiest Cypriots as I have the very house I was born in. Mind you they have enough of my land too.
