The Alarus look s bit like a Warrior or Cherokee.

I learned in a Warrior then bought a 25% share in an Arrow. Cool aircraft with retracts and v/p prop… before moving to Cyprus I sold it (it wouldn’t fit in any of my suitcases) to Ian Whittle, a BA pilot who is the son of Frank Whittle who invented the jet engine! How cool is that!!!

I’ll PM you the e-mail address of my friend’s flying school – I’m fairly sure he doesn’t have a web site. You can also contact griffon Avaiation who are based at Pafos airport.

Thank you so much grumpcyprus, i do appreciate it. i would really like to continue, I don't think there might be an Alarus in Cyprus anywhere but from what you say i might try the Warrior, sounds good, the only problem i usually have in other planes are looking over the dashboard..LOL just a little height challenged..

The Arrow sounds like a cool plane I'm sure you were bummed to sell..:( I'll check out the web..:)

Hi guys!
My name is Kristine, I am 24 and moving to Larnaca in 10 days:)
I have finished PPL theory course in Latvia and going to get a PPL licence in Cyprus. Seems like it is more expencive than in UK, isn't it?

Looks like one includes VAT and the other adds VAT onto their prices.

I can drive to Larnaca in 1½ hours tops.
