Is that possible to get connection with good outbound speed here? My Cyta ADSL Business Lite connection has just 7-8 KB/s (128 Kbps) outbound speed.

Satellite isn’t cheap though but you can share it with your neighbours or even whole communities. We are currently putting in a community solution in Pissouri based on a number of satellite uplinks.

CY£619 give you 2M down and 512K up – do you need that speed? That service is designed to support 12 PC’s concurrently accessing the Internet and transferring over 800MB of data per day…

We always quote uncompressed data rates so the throughput you would achieve is actually considerably higher than that and little or no contention.

I need 512 or 1024 outbound, because I need upload too much sometimes (I need to manage big online databases). 1024 inbound speed is not a problem on Cyprus, but good outbound speed is.
