The figures show there are some 13,000 refugee homes built on government or appropriated land, which were eligible for title deeds. However, a further 8,500 homes had been built on misappropriated Turkish Cypriot land and are not eligible for title deeds.

Nor are the 4,956 families living in Turkish Cypriot homes abandoned by their owners in 1974

The people living on TC do not have the title deeds to such land. They were put there because they were refugees. Like Andri said, if the invasion and ethnic cleansing carried out by Turkey had not had happend, the refugees wouldnt be housed there. Where else would they go?

Are you really that blind that you cant see this or trying to make some kind of non-starter point.

It seems to me that Greek Cypriots living in T/C homes in the south certainly don’t consider them to be their property. That’s why most of them are so run down – they all thought it was temporary accommodation.

Sorry to interrupt but, shouldn't somebody tell these people to start decorating as these are now their new homes.

Ummm I am not the one basically telling people to give on getting their land back because I have lots to lose.
No one is going to give up because they have the right to believe and hope that justice will be served and they will take back their property from the invaders and the ignorant scrubs that went and bought land illegally and now they want to convince everyone that they need to forget it so they wont lose their money.
