In goal, they haven't replaced Schmeichel. In defence they struggle since they got rid of Jaap Stam but last season they show improvement. In midfield, they still use Keane, he is too old, Beckham has not been replaced by anyone as good, Butt get fed up waiting for his chance and go. Giggs and Scholes are carrying too much burden. In attack they have lots of options but this is part of the problem, how can they keep all their strikers happy. They are in decline because they haven't got a generation of young players coming through like they did in 1995.

They are in decline also because their manager Sir Ferguson is a has been and is the real problem, he needs to be replaced with someone much younger with new ideas.

Well yes, he can be a problem, especially to the owners but I think you are on the wrong track. Without a young team United will just be a team of all-stars (like Real Madrid) who will take the money and go away later. That might bring the occasional success but it will not bring you sustained success like Arsenal are starting to enjoy and like Liverpool used to enjoy and like Man Utd themselves enjoyed not too long ago. Another manager will have to sort out the dressing room and unless he is given time (like Ferguson) he will be expected to achieve instant success. United fans have got used to winning trophies so that a season with no trophy is a failure. That is the legacy Ferguson has established.

Absolutely but do not get me wrong a young team is good for the future but ferguson in my opinion is just not up to it anymore and what it needs is a new injection of a quality manager like arsenal did with wenger , who in my opinion has paid them back dividens many fold over.

and Ferguson caned two seasons worth of transfer money with Wayne Rooney...who gave away the free kick which led to Norwich's first goal today lol.

At least with Arsenal we have a future...and potentially coming 2nd in the lague and at least gettin to the semi final of the FA Cup is not bad for one of Arsenal's terrible seasons.

Unlike Man Utd, we have a future with youths who we hanvent spent £25M on lol.

That rooney is such a w****r, first he beats his miss's up then goes on the pitch and throws all his toys out of his cot and then he gets caught swearing left right and centre.
This has to be the biggest £30 million pound fuck up of all time.
