Where are the WiFi Hotspots in Cyprus? I was in Ayia Napa some days ago and I was looking for one to connect my laptop but I could not find :(

Where in Pissouri? Adrius, I think Chesters also has free WiFi in Limassol but I didn't know that Molly had it.

Its not really a catch – ultimately somebody has to pay for the bandwidth.

We cover about 80% of the village area at the moment and hope to have 100% village and 100% beach areas cover in the next few months.

Urgently we are offering a 1M service but will be upgrading to 4M download/2M upload soon. These are uncompressed data rates.

Price starts at CY£20 per month.

How much would it be to use your Wi-Fi for 2-3 days if I come to Pissouri? Do you have any easy way to register? What about hotspots in other places in Cyprus?

I hope that you are aware that it is illegal to use WiFi with external antennas and signal amplifiers. Your signal level must be 100mW after the antenna gain is added (effective isotropic radiated power). So you better be careful of what you do, I was recently notified by the Cyprus Amateur Radio Society that they are conducting 2.4GHz signal level measurements all over Cyprus and are preparing a report for the ministry of Communications and Works on illegal WiFi use which is booming lately.

Yes of course – all of our equipment is well under 100mW :D
