Broadband access in the villages: Has the situation changed?

Postby maewing » Wed Apr 26, 2006 4:46 pm

Several of the area broadband providers have promised increased coverage for the villages at reasonable prices during 2006. Last I checked the only high speed option for upload was aroun CYP619/month. Is anyone aware of any options for villages such as Lefkara?

Thanks

We are implementing a high speed ‘community’ broadband in Pissouri. Costs start from CY£20 per month for an ‘always on’ connection.

Once up-and-running in its entirety we are planning to offer the service as a ‘package’ to other villages.

In the meanwhile, if you have a number of interested friends and neighbours you can share one of our two way satellite links between you.

Check our website here for more details.
