I have been checking fares and timings to both Larnaca and Paphos, and still prefer Cyprus Airways. Their planes have more leg room, the staff are generally friendlier and the food is always better than British Airways. The differences in prices on about 20 different dates I have tested today have been about £10 maximum difference so why do so many people moan about CY? To save money I used a First Choice in March, and it was the last time I try that! The food was appalling, the prices for a drink were very high £1.50 for a coffee!

I always use Cyprus Airways, although at times some of the staff - before the major layoffs made everyone think about their jobs! - did not always seem to be the friendliest.

Also, I have had a 2 day and a two and half hour delay this year and when I sougth compensation, I was told the pilot's strike was 'an Act of God'!

However, the overall package is good and I lie to support our ailing airline.

I had good experience with BA once I traveled from London to Larnaca. As there was a strike in Larnaca Airport the flight was canceled and the airline paid all our fees and expenses including the transport from Heathrow to Hotel the meals the room all included and the transport from Hotel to Heathrow. wow very good service from British Airways.EXCELLENT

I prefer to use CA but their prices are so high compared to the competition I can only justify loyalty so far.
Besides they have stopped giving out free peanuts :D

Always use CA where possible Larnaca-Manchester. Even managed to get an upgrade out of them a couple of times. Never had a problem with them. Found the Prices Competitive also . Especially for short notice travel. First drink is free, If you catch the stewards on a good day you can sometimes get the second also.
Eurocypria a good alternative if you're flying from UK
