We have a part container arriving in june with furnishings and my 1998 BMW 1200RS Motorbike, i was told seeing the bike is more than five years old I would not have to pay duty on it ,is this true if not any idea how much duty to pay

Why should you pay duty in Cyprus if you already paid duty in another EU member state?

You shouldn't.

As far as i am aware there has been warning letter sent from the EU to the ROC about this procedure they have.

I have read an article somewhere about this, I will try and dig it out for you.
