I agree the condom is the glass slipper in the sense that it's tried on with a lot of partners (generally speaking).

Where it is NOT the glass slipper is in the 'searching for perfect love' sense. The prince in the Cinderella story wanted to re-discover the perfect feeling of love he felt with Cinderella before she ran away, and only Cinderella's foot would fit into the slipper, so he went looking only for her.

The slipper only fits Cinderella, so only she could actually wear it, no one else.

The condom fits all and is used indiscriminately.
