on my latest trip to larnaca which was to christen my son, lots of family & friends came over & attended the do one good friend came all the way from brazil just for the christening.anyway long story short on a night out he was badly beaten up by some locals had to attend hospital and put a report in to the police...! after a day or so he was called in to the station to sign a statement NOT GIVE ONE SIGN A PRE-WRITEN ONE,turns out the peole involved were a sister & brothers of a priest suprise suprise they gave a different story as to what happened & the police were gonna charge my friend gbh & other false chargers unless he dropped all the charges against those involved.
So there was me thinking that the goverment were sorting out this problem...!!! :x what do you folks think of the cypriot polce..?

I agree with Andri. You believe only your friend because he is your friend but there is always two sides to a story. If your friend is right then he should not drop the charges and let the court decide who is right and who is wrong.

Sorry to say that it was a corrupt RoC Policeman and his 'friends' who used violence and intimidation to drive us and our neighbours from our homes in Larnaca.

Who do you call when you are threatened or worse in front of witnesses? the police of course and what the xxxx do you do when you find that they are all in it together!

Of course there's no corruption in the RoC Police, just a trick of the light and a little difference in understanding. My xxxxxxx arse!
