international sporting event to be held in in North Cyprus s

Postby ivan hardon » Thu May 18, 2006 8:27 am

A UK touring side, from Sidcup in Kent, have arrived and will play the GAU Pumas; the first international sporting event to be held in in North Cyprus since 1974!
Kick off @ 4pm on Saturday 20th May at Alsancak Soccer Stadium.
Bring the family, bring a picnic and enjoy a good afternoon of sporting action and a first for the TRNC.
After proceedings at The Old Mill at Ozankoy -

Please attend and show your support for the lifting of embagos

Is it a political event ? Sidcup Vets vs The International Community?

If anyone out there is interested in a solution for Cyprus then lifting of embargoes should wait until a settlement. Unfortunately, Bush sees Cyprus as a cake from which he can take a slice and his knife is running deep through the middle.

The embargo is a consequence of the Turkish occupation.

So Mr. "hardon" you should support the end of the occupation if you want an end to the embargoes.
