Is up to the degree or the professional qualifications you have.
As there are thousands of accountants on the island you need them in order to get a job.

If you speak Greek it will be something positive. If you don't it will be harder.

You’d have a better chance of getting a job anywhere if you improved your typing, spelling and grammar skills.

I’m not perfect but basic computer skills (like turning off Caps Lock, capitalising ‘I’ and checking spelling) are important for job hunters.

I used to run a business in the UK with 35 employees – the number of CV’s that where dumped in the ‘laugh and tear up’ file because of a basic inability to communicate using the written word was astonishing.

The truth is that I can’t spell to save my life – I would never think of writing a letter (or posting on a forum) without getting a computer to check the content for me. ;-)

I can only agree Grump. As an Office Manager, one would expect that one could at least type! I have worked as an Office Manager and couldn't hope to get such a job in Paphos, which is where I will be living as of July this year. This being because my experience was short-lived, and some years ago now. Basic communication skills (in whichever language) is pretty essential for most employers.
