hi i was just wondering what the wages are like for say unskilled people in cyprus such as housekeepers in hotels and bar staff

im buying a house in cyprus but will be living in the uk as im a builder but maybee in the future would think of giving up the building work for a bit of an easier life. stop running my business and doing an unskilled job in a hotel or restaurant or bar ect

what at the minute are the wages for these sort of jobs and if my cyprus house was paid for would i be able to live ok with out using all my savings my wife would also work

could someone give me some i dea as to the salery to these sort of jobs

Not very high. About 350 per month

In Ayia Napa barmen can get upto £1000 per month but thats seasonal, if you can get an all year round job you should be looking at around £600 + tips. What you can earn will depend somewhat on where you live, the Eastern end of the island (Ayia Napa/Protaras) is far more seasonal the the West.
If you can make around CY£750 every month you'll be OK.
