Do you describe yourself the same as your friends do???

Have you ever noticed that how you describe yourself often is not the same as what your friends or family do.

What are some of the biggest differences in describing your character -- why do you think we differ so much in our opinions? Do our friends not know us very well or do we see ourselves in a completely different light than the rest of the world? I have a couple of friends here with me and their characterization is somewhat different:

I Say ------------------Friends Say
Cute ---------------------Striking
Girly Girl ---------------Girly Girl with guts
Sensitive ---------------Do I hear ruthless
Smart ---------------She can definitely be outwitted
Somewhat reserved-----First to try something new
Family Oriented ---------Don't ever say anything against her family
Follows the rules---------Bends every rule going
Enjoys wine/fireplace & fine companion------Enjoys Drinks …. Drinks …. drinks and a companion who can keep the fireplace going
Appreciates a nice car -------Car crazy just plain crazy
Bold-----------------------Brazen
Emotional ---------- Yeah that's right --- emotional

If a column is needed for what is said behind your back --- are they friends??

I always believed friends were honest with you --- naive of me perhaps?

Don't know about Sotos, but I am very honest with friends and family --- perhaps too much so some would say, but if I have something to say I much prefer that they hear it from me directly rather than 2nd or 3rd hand .... too much opportunity for words to be twisted.

If it is worth saying, it is worth doing so directly.
