If that is just shipping it sounds expensive.

If it is shipping, registration fees, duty, VAT, MoT test and Cypriot plates then you have a bargain.

I’d insist on a price which was door (Manchester) to Door in Limassol with all duty fees and registration paid. I can’t think why anyone would want to bring a car from the UK to here it is an administrative nightmare and potentially incredibly expensive.

Hi - I am relocating to Cyprus from the UK in January 2007. I have just got a quotation for bringing my car over Southampton to Limassol £470.00 (British currency).
Does anyone know what charges I can expect to pay in Cyprus. I would be most grateful for help as I am trying to work out if it would be worth it. Car is 1999 Renault Megane.

Regards

It is not as complicated if you drive the car there, and far more enjoyable too!

Why? Because to replace our car in CY would cost us an extra CY£21,600 in duty!

Marieelissa,

That is a very good price out of Southampton.

Can you give me a link to your shippers as I'm looking at taking my classic car to Cyprus?
