Andri-cy I dont think he will need money - although Individuals are involved on the surface this is really politics, and the costs will be covered by the goverments involved. I just worry about the future, until something is done, more and more land and property will be sold off, with heartbreak all round, except for the clever ones who pocket the money and buy safe land!! This is what I ask over and over again - if the greek Cyp land is so safe, WHY is Turkish Cyp land double the value? I am not suggesting that I am extremely clever but ............. doesnt it ring a warning bell somewhere?

Lysi - the Homebutyers pressure group were saying that they may not carry on due to lack of support! I think it was just a general whingers club, regarding shoddy work, deeds still outstanding after 2 yrs etc etc. But you are right in one thing, there is no defence for buying Greek Cyp property not after all this publicity in the last few years. Oh sorry I forgot - there is a defence - the " I couldnt afford a big villa anywhere else " defence!!!

The occupied north of cyprus is a safe haven for wanted criminals because there is no EXTRADITION treaty with any country in the world, word gets around in criminal circles about this fact.
I wonder how the greedy people who have bought stolen property & live in the occupied north feel about the fact that there are hundreds of DRUG DEALERS, MURDERERS, RAPISTS & CHILD SEX OFFENDERS living in there puppet state, also i have heard that the north is now home to several dirty & illegal sex websites & the puppet state regime are unwilling to close them down, proberly because they are making so much money from bribes.
