Inside knowledge of Cyprus!

Postby sal » Sat Jul 29, 2006 11:41 pm

I'm planning to visit Cyprus again and some inside information from you experts would be so much appreciated.

I am wanting to base myself on the east side of the island quite near but not too near Ayia Napa/Nissi Bay. Can anyone recommend any nice areas not too touristy? I am hoping to rent an apartment or villa for one week. A nice place but as cheap as possible does anybody know where to look to book this as the internet doesn't come up with much! And what is there is majorly expensive!!!

Finally, I am wanting a recommendation for an amazing restaurant in this area. Somewhere really nice and special.

I am so grateful for any help any of you can offer to me. Really am. :D
