Getting Re-Married in Ayia Napa

Postby monksb » Wed Aug 02, 2006 6:54 pm

I Hope somebody out there can help. My wife and I along with two of our three children are visiting Ayai Napa in September for our other sons wedding (we live in the USA, he lives in the UK), Seeing as this is one of the few times that the whole brood will be together my wife thought it would be a great idea to renew our wedding vows. My question is how do we go about it? The wedding we are going for was all arrainged through a travel agent and we dont have that option from here in the states. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to get in contact with the town hall in ayia napa, they should be able to help, they will tell you what paper work you need to bring and how much it would cost. I will try and find their number for you.

ok i cant find ayia napa number but you should be able to get hold of it on this number 00357 22669150 this is the union of cyprus municipalities. I have just read that to renew wedding vows all you need is your original wedding certificate. The cost is the same as a church weding but no licence or affidavits are required. I hope i have been of some help.

Contact MedWeds based in Paralimni. They will be able to help. They organise weddings and renewals of vows in Cyprus for residents and non-residents alike..
