Hi Simon,
Ladies mile beach is a lovely sandy beach, and as it is so long, it is easy to find nice quiet areas. The only problem I have is having to walk into the sea a long way for a swim as the water shelves down very gradually. Some nice beach tavernas as well.
Cheers Norman.

In my opinion best beaches are in the East. Konnos Bay is lovely, as Cape Grecco is such a lovely place

Hiya peeps

We found the Sea Caves beaches to be lovely...deserted too. Hubby went for a walk and found some people sunbathing in their birthday suits!!

Best Cyprus beaches

Postby Catlover1964 » Tue May 15, 2007 6:03 pm

If you want deserted beaches then it has to be Chryscohous bay (Poli/Latchi area) or the beach at Mansoura near Kato Pyrgos - and yes the fish is the best (taste and value)!

Hiya
The beaches in the Sea Caves area are beautiful. White sand, and very deserted

Does the Mackenzie Beach (South of Larnaca) still exist Or is it crowded with apartment blocks?

Thanks Serge for the pics. I must have passed on the way from the airport. I did not recognise the place after 44 years. When I last went there there was only one hut and just me and three friends. It certainly has come a looong way since.
