I am travelling to Cyprus in late August for a week with my family. Due to having two major athletics competition within ten days of my return
I would like to train while I am in Cyprus.

I am stayin in Paphos for a week.

Does anyone know where the nearest athletics tracks are from paphos and there location?

Hi

They built a new Athletics track for the last Olympics. The GB team used it to train there as they trained in Cyprus instead of Greece.

It's used as a football stadium as well and I'm pretty sure the track is still there.

Pegeia is appx. 15 min drive from Paphos but I don't know about about opening times etc. Maybe someone else can enlighten us.

I've had a quick search on google for you but can't find anything.

I think the track in Paphos is called Pafiako Athletic Centre, is that the one you were thinking of?

I don't think so but it might be. The one I'm thinking of is definitely in Pegeia but I suppose it could be classed as Paphos.
