Statement of the RoC President at the 61st UN Gen. Assembly

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Alexis

Unfortunately often in war Newton’s laws of Physics comes into play: for every action there is a reaction. The greek military forces got their due comeuppance in 74 unfortunately ( i do really regret this bit ) a lot of civilians were killed as well , innocent civilians who didn’t want any part of the war. But the greeks knew that when they started to gamble with the lives of those peaceful civilians on the island of Cyprus for a greater Hellenic empire.

As always and i think both sides will agree on this bit. the innocent always suffer the most in any war,

True freedom has a hidden price,
for you to have it. Everyone must have it. Otherwise it’s just a dream you hold
for if you deny it to others, someday you will wake and find that your own freedom was but a dream has gone with the waking.

Sorry mate but in his address to the EU your representative made a slight error you see he thinks he owns the whole Island
This is an extract from the first line of his address regarding the Cyprus issue

“Let me now turn to the Cyprus problem, a problem of invasion and continuing occupation, by Turkish military forces, of 37% of the territory of my country”

Notice the “My Country bit? “

You see that’s the problem that caused all these years of grief, he speaks of the Greek Cypriot government and my country (Cyprus) if he spoke of a Cypriot government maybe the world would listen. You fools just cannot see that Enosis has already happened in the south. You are governed by a greek puppet government and don’t know it,

Lets face it up to the island being annexed by Britain it was owned by Turkey and has only ever been dominated by the Greeks in those pre 74 years and we all know what happened to a considerable slice of the population then.

The North bit of Cyprus is gong to remain for the Turkish Cypriots a safe haven, their own bit of the world where they are safe and free from any attempts to wipe them out. There are 40.000 serious looking Turkish troops here to defend them and more than 10.000 resident brits who are supporting them.

You think Puppetdopolous ( an ex self confessed Eoka killer ) will ever rule the north ? it would be funny if it wasn’t so outrageous.

Today is 2006 and most of the parameters changed. E.g. there were no settlers in 1975. The property issue could be easily handled and many refugees from both sides could return and carry on their lives….However nothing was agreed regarding the essense of BBF, just some vague lines. Hence you today think BBF means 2 separate states or confederation at best, we think it is a usual Federation in which the TCs will govern one of the two areas.

Yeah, I guess I'm cluless. What would I know? I only lost half my family in 63. I was only 10, what would I know at that age? The Greeks behind each olive tree advancing into the village with Bren guns were probably friendly Greeks coming to play cowboys and Indians with me. But how would I know? I thought they were coming to kill me. How stupid and how clueless of me.

He doesn't care to educate himself. He reads the Turkish propaganda in order to give excuses to himself for the crime he is currently committing against us.

All the crooks that bought GC property in the occupied areas are the same like him.

for every action there is a reaction.

Then I guess you know that our reaction to the crime you commit against us is inevitable, right?

As kifeas said you are clueless, but I have some spare seconds to waste for you.Listen: According to the constitution the President of the Republic of Cyprus is always a GC so when he says my country he means the whole of Cyprus and the whole of its people. Similarly the Vice President is always a TC and when he should speak of my country he should mean the same.

So yes the country of which the President presides and talks about as HIS Country that has been invaded is Cyprus as a whole.
