Wind quite chilly tonight in Larnaca, temp at moment is 24c, but feels like 19c. That may sound warm, but when you have been used to temps that we have had over last 2 months, its quite chilly.

Is that distant thunder i can hear in the hills???

No, that'll be the sound of 20,000 ex pats [the over 50's mainly] changing their position from;

" Oooohhh it's too hot, I can't stand it it's soo hot, turn up the air conditioning the sweat is pouring off me, pouring I say. Look, look at me I'm melting for God's sake, and aren't Heinz Baked Beans expensive?"

Too;

" Freezing, freezing I tell you. Bitter. Look, goose bumps I'm that cold. Fetch my cardigan mother and turn the heating right up. Why can't this country get the weather right? Hot one day, cold the next. I don't know why we came here, I really don't. And aren't Heinz Baked Beans expensive?"

hey Vex8

Its not just the ex pats that feel the heat or the cold, lots of Cypriots do too and they moan about prices and the government bureaucracy.

Don't be to quick to judge! :wink:
