Cyprus European Qualify match

Football, Basketball, F1 etc.

Postby Alexis » Thu Oct 05, 2006 12:41 pm

I'm hoping this will be a breakthrough match for Cyprus. If they win (or even draw) against Ireland it would certainly be an achievement. I heard on the news the other day that the Irish team has four or five players that have never played an international football match before. It looks like this is not the strongest Irish team ever, Cyprus need to take advantage of that.

Great result though. :D
Perhaps people felt that Cyprus was going to get pummelled again. A few more results like this and attendances will pick up.
