Hi Guys,
I am going to stay in Cyprus from January till June. Now I am planing the travel and so I have some question hoping u can answer them for me:

Is there a train from Larnaca to Lefkosia and how much does it cost?

Do anybody know, if there are any "low-budget" accommodations, youth hostels or anything else?

How far is it from the airport to the city?

No trains in Cyprus but you can get a bus/coach from Larnaca sea front to Nicosia (and Limassol/Pafos) - about £3 single/£5 return.

Guesstimate re. distances:

Larnaca airport to town = approx. 6 Kms
Larnaca airport to Nicosia/Lefkosa = 60/70 Kms

Gather there are some budget hotels approx. £10 a night - not sure what they're like tho'!

you could also take one of the shared taxis that operate to nicosia which will be quicker than the buses and more punctual.
