i see a post about paphos football team and looking to do well next season with ex pro players or decent level players...

im moving to paphos next week for my job and will be around a long time.
iv played at decent levels including in the football league2,fa cup ect.. in the uk.all were as a pro but maybe i peaked as a youngster to early i dont know.
as a kid i was at southampton, watford and wycombe wanderers(im only 21 so still a big kid really.lol)

just looking to get back in to football at a serious level for next season(is your pre-season same as the british?july time?)because the last season or so iv been working in remote parts of majorca where finding football at a good level was extreamly hard and all there was to do was to keep fit and hope for a new team to be created which neevr happened..

F/A/O THE HIGHLANDER
BRIAN MARTIN ( SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER)

With reference to the email you posted onto the Cyprus forum, dated 15th March 2007.
I am 23 and started my Football career at Leeds United at the age of 11 untill 13 then went to Barnsley FC and was there untill the age of 19. Did two years scholarship and 1 year pro while I was full time with Barnsley FC. Made my league debut at 18 against Wigan Athletic. Went on loan to Doncaster Rovers and was part of the squad that got promoted to the Football league. Signed for them and was there for a year.
Then did pre season at Scarborough Football club, then went on to sign for Wakefield Emley.
During my time at Wakefield Emley had a trial at Bradford City. The season after signed for Ossett Town only and was there a couple of weeks then went onto play for Frickley Athletic where I have remained for the last two years. Within my time at Frickley Athletic I also left and signed for Gateshead Football Club but returned back to Frickley within weeks.
I am moving to Paphos and looking to continue my Football career therefore could you please email me back as soon as possible.

These are the web sites for Cyprus' top 3 teams. I went to a game recently and the standard was surprisingly good. Slow, passing game, but quite entertaining. Good luck, and post how you get on....

AEL a top team!?

Finding players...

Postby norfy » Wed Jun 24, 2009 5:21 pm

Hi,

I'm due to launch www.scoutingworks.com in July which unites players of various levels with clubs.

I can help you find players if want?
That includes womens and youth football.

We've already been endorsed by the F.A. so we aim to be professional and we do not charge for this.

If you're a player and you want to find a new club, register online. Site should be live mid-July 2009.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Mark
