Turkey finally paid $1.1 million to Titina Loizidou for the damage caused by its invasion of Cyprus in 1974.
Until now Turkey was trying to prove that its invasion was just "intervention" and that nothing illigal was done in Cyprus. Now, by agreeing to pay they actually admit what the rest of the world knew for years:
That Turkey invated Cyprus and continues to illigaly occupy it, that human rights are not respected, and that Turkey alone is responsible and the "TRNC" has no validity or authority in Cyprus.

Cyprus now is not just a little island alone. Is going to be part of the EU and Turkey will face many problems if they continue the occupation of a part of the EU territory!

in either way Turkey is in charge northern part of cyprus and everybody knows that...thats why European countries puts pressure on Turkey to leave the northern part of the island...But they wants to get the damn date from european union and using Cyprus problem as an advantage...it sounds like i'm holding turkish cypriots ppl futures in our hands..give me the date or whatch them immigrate to other countries..thats how it looks for me....its unbelivable!..
