Falklands vet

We all need a good laugh.

Falklands vet

Postby tony harte » Sun Nov 26, 2006 4:33 pm

Walking down London's Oxford St

A beggar sitting in a shop doorway had hat down and a sign on him saying

"Falklands vet please help"

This is so wrong i thought this man has served his country and ends up like this.

Without a second thought i put a £20 note in his hat and said good luck my friend.

As i was walking away the man said to me

"GRATSIAS SENIOR"

Just goes to show -- even a small place like the Falklands has unemployment -- even the local vet has to come to the UK and beg  :? .

Still it makes a change from the Eastern Europeans cleaning your windscreens I suppose  :?
