Hazza, since we are flying into Lanarka, we will probably stay there, although we have not set a date yet. thinking march or april, if possible. hope to book it right after christmas. any suggestions as to where to stay? i think we were looking at Lordos?

March is a pretty boring time to come in all true honesty. Alot of places are closed now until April.

Can't remember where Lordos hotel is. Been passed it so many times but my mind has gone blank. A very good hotel is The Princess Beach Hotel in Larnaca. 4 star hotel with very friendly staff.

ok, thanks for the tip. i'll look into it and consdier april.....and i will keep you posted on my plans. will it be warm enough to go swimming at the beach in april? my friend i hope to travel with is a real beach bum.

My personal favourite time of year is June or September. Its nice and warm. You can wear shorts all day and all night but you don't feel uncomfortably hot. Its a good time of year to go swimming, laze about in the sun on the beach or by the pool.

March can be very nice if it rained the months before since everything is green and nice and the flowers bloom. But I guess Hazza is not romantic like me ;)

I always liked March and April in Cyprus. My brother swims all year so I dont know what some people might consider cold or hot...
