That's interesting that you found your bachelor's degree to be more difficult, but perhaps this was because degrees are more difficult in Cyprus? I stayed on and did my MSc at the same uni., so it was easier for me to compare them both. Also they were in the same sort of academic area.

When you say you are a teacher, do you mean you teach some courses at the uni? A lot of students get part time jobs working in local shops or even for their university e.g I knew people who worked in the uni. bookshop etc. Possibly these are options, if you felt you would like to earn some extra money part time (I presume there are no issues with getting part time work now that RoC is in the EU? ).

There were a lot of people studying part time on my course as well, people who had come in from industry. In some ways it is even more pressure on them because often their company is paying for their studies, and as I said earlier once you leave uni. it is amazing how the brain seems to lose its ability to learn!

Yes I think that the reason...in Cyprus they want us to study hard. And to be honest few of the things that I am learning now I already know them from my bachelor. I had few courses about institutional managment and leadership and research in my bachelor.

No I study to be a teacher but for children. I am thinking to continue my studies for a PhD. I might teach in the feature to Uni...and you gave me another good reason...I dont want my brain lto be equal with vegetables. :@

It looks like it is down near the tourist areas. My parents chose a villa outside the town because they didn't want to be near where the tourists go, in summer apparently it is just heaving with brits everywhere. You could easily distinguish between the brit tourists and the ex-pats during winter - all the tourists were wearing shorts because it was so warm, whilst all the ex-pats had their jumpers on because it was so cold :D

BTW I didn't imagine StAmFoRd, did I :?: :!:

It's in a very nice area just a little away from the hustle and bustle, however if you want to join in with the British tourists then it's not too far away to do that also. LOL re tourists wearing their shorts even when it's cold! I seem to remember that myself, many of the female tourists used to wear their bikinis even on cold days and they used to get some funny stares, it was a case of them being on their hols so they will get a suntan! :D

No you didn't imagine it, possilby you'd had one too many, that's all! ;)
