I am confused about my marriage.

Looking for friends? For a boyfriend/girlfriend? Lover? Pen-pal?

Good sense Pete_D, whatever the outcome of a heart to heart talk about the situation, Isabella must ultimately come out of it with a little more credibility than her husband.
Hope it all pans out well for you Isabella. :)

in our country our government do the firing squad at our national park for all the MARTYRS ... that is every sunday to be witnessed by the locals.

for me its quite obvious that your husband loves you only when you're around... don't be mad..

cheers!!!

Does anybody else think this posting is a little odd?

A girl from the US with seemingly no connection to Cyprus posts on a Cyprus forum and this - her first post spills her heart out to total strangers who very kindly offer advise but get no response from her in return!

I would only divulge personal issues like that to my best friends. Unless she wants it so anonymous that she chooses an unconnected country with people who couldn't possibly know who she is?

All very odd.

Actually, I did mean to ask in my post (but forgot) why choose a forum on Cyprus for this? That maybe is a bit odd.

But, who knows. Even if "isabella" made it all up, one day someone else might come along with similar problems, read what we all said, and take heart from it all. You never know!

I somehow get the sneaking feeling that Isabella's hubby may be one of those guys that go around various states marrying anybody that they can con.

There was a documentary on television a few years ago about a American guy who had ( in total ) 7 wives -- He always had two on the go at any one time .

He usually picked on women who were lonely -- had their own properties and a bit of money put by -- he always stated that he had to work out of state and turned up as and when he felt like it

The women got fed up and eventually divorced him and paid him off -- then he would find another lady to marry in another state -- keeping up the quota of two wives on the ago at the same time.

I can't remember how he was caught out but it was something totally unrelated to his marriages.

Personally I can't see how he could remember all his wives names and get it right on the night  -- I have difficulty trying to figure out one woman let alone two or three ----

I do like Joice - Anne's idea though --- even though it doesn't beat a good stoning in the village square

Bill, i don't think he had a problem with remembering names.. I am sure he just called each of them 'honey' :)
