i want objective lists if you cant provide them your no use to me.and by the way .001% of a systematic ethnic cleansing should be genocide.

Maybe try asking nicely and not demanding, like you are owed something from me and I would do my best to provide whatever lists I know about. Simply demanding things (that quite possibly do not exist in the form you want anyway) with 'attitude' is not the best way to obtain what you want in my opinion. I suspect however that you are less interested in any lists that might exist and more interested in being able to say 'hah - I asked TC for a list of those killed in 63-74 and they could'nt give them to me. So they are just making 'propaganda' about the period 63-74'. I might be wrong but this seems to me what you really want, given the whole way you have approached this. If I am wrong then I appologise.

The second site shows "massacre of turks" ... no mention of Turkish Cypriots. Is this relevant ? Or is it just phrasing ?

EDIT : No disprespect intended towards those killed, i`m asking whether the lists are of actual people from Turkey/Turkey army ?

oH! iAM SICK AND FED UP HEARION ABOUT KILLING ETC IN THJE PASSED LET'S FOORGET THE PASSED AND THINK
TOWARDS THE FUTURE. wE SHOULD INSTEAD OF THAT REHABILITATE BOTH COMMUNITIES TO LIVE TOGETHER AS TWO INDEPENDENT STATES.
aNY WAY IF BOTH STATES ENTER THE E U, THEY WOULD AUTOMATICALY BECOM MEMBERS OF A FAMILY WITH EQUAL RIGHTS AND OPPORTUNITIES lOOK AT THE fRENCH AND THE bRITISH THEY SEEM TO LIVE IN HARMONY TOGETHER AND WHY SHOULDN'T THE COMM IN cYPRUS DO THE SAME by stating this I hope the form do not accuse me of doing a U turn because on the contrary I still maintain the same stance that the Gc are broaght up to be etnocentric to the extent that they find difficulty to accept the fact that \cyprus is not a Greek Island is a Cypriot one with geo-political and social problems that are in need of urgent attention.

So when you get this proof what will you do, will you go and tell tassos to make it official and accept that these crimes were commited or is it like erolz said.

I await your reply.

A simple question has been asked by boulio and we get a list of replies questioning why he wants a list! Why are you all trying to avoid this issue? Surely as a way of reconciliation, all the people that are dead or missing should be known. There seem to be sketchy details as to the number of dead of both sides. There are also many myths as to the number of people killed and the manner of their death.

This does need to come out, particularly as there are many people that still do not know the fate of thier loved ones.

mikkie if you have read the threads you will understand why the suspicion is due to the attitude behind it, for goodwill purposes we are all behind it.

But if you want to lead by example ask no question and supply him with the info.

Actually, i dont think any United Nations soldier/official would attempt to stop the fighting in order to count the dead or missing, and then let the figting begin again.

Official-to-Bothsides Number/List of dead and missing persons from both nations can be found/prepared by a bicommunal reconciliation commitee.

The web adress given by melbgreko does well in listing the turkish cypriots that died during the genocide in a manner reflecting the turkish cypriot nations current position.
