They are playing the game "government" again? Aren't they bored? Maybe they should switch to lego for a while, it would be more constructive

".............  Celal said Council of Ministers made a decision for use of TRNC ports for trade from southern Cyprus to Turkey and other countries and for trade from Turkey and other countries to southern Cyprus......"

What does this actually mean ? That the "TRNC" can receive goods bound for RoC and will allow them to land and be transported through to the government controlled areas ?

It sounds like a bit nonesense... or they expect GC side to open their ports for the same purpose as well..

there is already a offer on the table which by the way the EU considered very satifactory for ammohostos(forgive my spelling) to be reinhabitaed by its legal residents and that the port of famagusta to be opened to both g/c and t/c under the supervision of the EU.Turkey has either declined or not responded.

Ummm... let me know if this sounds oversimplistic...

The ports are opened, knowing that such a decision will have no real effect, as an effort from TC leadership to appear as the one seeking to facilitate co-operation between the two administrations, and that it's the GC leadership that won't budge from its positions...? Perhaps TC leadership is trying to capitalize on other leaders' (presidents, PMs, etc.) alleged dislike (for lack of a better word - maybe 'mistrust'?) for Tassos, in their favour...?

How does that sound?
