Postby GAVCARoCOM » Thu Mar 01, 2007 3:49 am

It was one of the greatest holiday i had !!!!!

Specially the restaurants opposite the titanic club it was serving very nice wine.
The beech is not very nice ( Famagusta area always better with a beeches)
Four seasons and Le meridian is the best hotels round there

It was very interesting for me that my father owned a building and now its a GCs running as a club. I been there and get drunk . After i go to sleep . thats all

if it's one of the greatest holidays you've ever had then why are you posting threads asking where the best place is to visit in Cyprus.. haven't you just answered that question for yourself?.... ugh

I said "one of the greatest holiday i had"
I wanted to see people opinion .
As i explain there its nice place but the best beeshes in cyprus is Glapsides in famagusta and the golden beach in Karpaz and The best place is Kyrenia. I couldnt have any holiday in North cyprus yet because of its my own country and everyday i m in Kyrenia. For me holiday is visiting different countrys. And i said it was one of the best. I had many nice holidays all over the worls. You dont appriciate that one TC can make good comments for your country. whats that. I know none of you not going holiday in north. I dont think i will come back holiday because i like Larnaca more then Limassol. But most beatifull city how i explain before is Kyrenia and everybody know that. You should come for holiday as well and i can advise you colony hotel because its really nice. ( I never stayed there by the way)

I personally will never return to Kyrenia again. I had a horrible visit, we were harassed by a casino employee, ripped off then forced to leave the casnio without our money that was owed to us. There are however some lovely restuarants on the harbor front. It'a a very senic area. If you like knock off clothing, shoes, jewelery, handbags etc.... it's your dream come true. We went over for 3 days on holiday this past summer and to show my parents the different sides of the island. I'm glad I went to experience it, however with no disrespect to the people or area, I will not be returning again.

We have been to the North several times since arriving in Cyprus. To date, we have not stayed overnight as we've found that once we have been round Kyrenia a few times, there seems to be very little else there.

We don't enjoy spending our holidays being tied to a hotel complex and most of the accommodation appears to be in "holiday village" style complexes.

We have ventured to the North by varying routes - on foot by Ledra Palace and by car via Ag Nik base and through Famagusta as well as by the racecourse in Nicosia. We've travelled along the panhandle too but all that is to be seen is a bare coastline and lots of construction as you get nearer to Kyrenia.

All in all, we were considerably disappointed although, St Hilarion did save the day on our last visit.

Are you calling gambling as a holiday !!!!
I saw many GCs playing in casinos without any problem
And i saw they paid out $50000 without any problem to a GC
But my advice never gamble because its very bad habit and its worst thing you can ever do. If you play then you should put in your pocket $100 and play for fun. I think you get addicted that they throw you out. Its nice shows they do sometimes

I think you are right GAVCARoCOM gambling is not a holiday

I have been to many countrys for holidays but I think the best so places i have visited so far are where i come from Australia That said, i would not missed out out on going to everywhere I have been as it is all interesting

If you like Kyreina you should check out handrai in crete you will be amazed how similar these places are
