Absolutely miltiades, there are very few who would disagree with you (myself included), may I ask what the purpose of your highlighting such facts are ?, since I am sure that everyone on the forum would be in concert with your views on this occasion.

I hope it was not your intention to inform us of something we are all well aware of, since that would be a complete waste of your time and ours. Wink

My intention was to draw your attention to the aim of the savages to create anarchy by blowing up innocent Iraqis and to ensure that democracy does not succeed.
Anyone that interprets , as you do , otherwise is not using logic by finding excuses for such acts. They are driven by a hatred of anything that contradicts their perverted ideals.

miltiades, I do not seek to find excuses for their actions and THAT is probably the area in which you have difficulty in comprehending my views.

I try to analyse and understand the reasons for them, if we are able to do that, we are also able to arrive at the source of the problem and, if practicable, eliminate it.

The unlawful attack on Iraq is NOT the sole reason for so much disharmony in the Middle East, it is the culmination of much that preceded it, I know it, politicians know it, millions of people throughout the world know it, WHY is it that a man of your advancing years is so determined to avoid seeking ANY explanation?.

Whether it be right or wrong, providing it is not based on insult and ignorance, ANYTHING would be better than blind indifference.

In my humble opinion. Wink

Eliko if you were more reasonable in where you are constantly laying the blame for all the middle and near east problems maybe we could have some common ground to start discussing these issues on.
Current problems in Iraq are more to blame with Syria, Iran and Al-Quaeda, but if you must include the coalition then you must also include the former Soviet Bloc for their equal contribution in creating instability in those regions, by constantly slagging off the West as the sole perpetrators you lose the argument an credibility.
