These flights are just desperate action. Turkey sees the negative climate so it pays people to flight to the illegal airport.

You are making assumptions at best 'Fi' and not giving any facts to substantiate your claims but if that is what you want to believe then be my guest, and you still have not answered about the tassos secret meetings and his lies behind it.

suggest you change the name of the thread because it does not really explain the thread. Moderators Note: Suggestion noted, but no reason for action required. The name alludes to the topic at least.

i dont like the way you can change my message. i think you should either reply or delete it. not add to my message

Well according to what Adam Ereli, there is nothing illegal about congressman flying to TRNC airport.

Well the people coming are getting minimum a free vacation.

As for the "secret meetings" MicAtCyp had already replied here

Hehehe hi Turkey (( *

I didn't know I had to comment. Why is it illegal:

1) The airport is not recognised by IATA
2) It is run by a state condemned by the UN and not recognised internationally

Now the US generally have the notion that they can bend international legality and that's what gave them a bad name.

But what I said is Adam ERELI said there was nothing illegal about it, and they have no intention of giving a warning to the group who went to TRNC directly. You may say it is illegal but it seems that they don't care...

wrong fi

we can take a solution or equally carry on without one. The last thing we are is desperate- we are just waiting to see the outcome of Oct 3 talks at the moment- most likely scenario we will carry on the boom, developing our tourist trade thereafter.
Best possible out come Turkey does not join the Eu, we know where we stand and keep out the big international business concerns keeping our unique unspoilt flavour which our tourists love.

We can also live with the Eu too. We r in a no loose situation, We certainly are not desperate.
