Good competition mate

Now run along, we have a game with Paris St germain to prepare for.

Paphitis: What you laughing at?

Paul Ledera: I've never heard of the city or team!

Paphitis: stop being such a smart arse.

Paul Federer: look Paphitis. WSW is a world class team signing Dutch Internationals. If we are gonna take over a team, it will be something worthwhile like Manchester City so we can get hold of Melbourne City.

DT. wrote:Oh and btw...your giant club has a stadium capacity if 21500. Apoel has 23,000 capacity in its stadium. Now If we take the country sizes as an ratio I'm happy to say, you guys are pathetic. :D

WSW 2012-2013 attendance 174520
Apoel 2009-2010 attendance 244977

I'll find same year comparisons if you like. We're still a bigger club. Not bad for an island of 750K. Now don't make me go buy your little futsal team and hire them all flipping burgers for BBQ nights at the GSP.

They also play at Stadium Australia - capacity 50,000.

They are also building their own 35,000 all seater.

Btw, you left the attendances out for 2013/2014. What happened there? Did they double Apoel's

Ok, I've done a little reading on your little group of wombats and you're gonna looooooooove what I dug up. :D

1) I looked up the 2013-2014 season and it seems that even though we had no Champion League games that season your highest attendance for the season was 18080 and Apoel's was 18800. So much for the bigger club there then. If you can dig out any total attendance for the season then you'll find Apoel is the bigger club again.

2) this is great :D
You were right! You HAVE made some Dutch transfers. Youssouf Hersi. Wanna know which team got rid of him for you to pick him up?

Alki Larnaka FC

So...as the bear told the hunter after he took him behind the bushes...."you don't come here for the hunt, do you?"

Give it up dude!

I don't know who Hersi is. Maybe a reserve. I am talking about Celeste who was part of the Holland WC squad of 2010 and 2014.

You're trying to compete with the big boys but you got no cash.

When the Australian Teams are picking up million dollar transfers and pay the players 30000 per game, then you get the quality Dutch, Spanish and British signings. How do they do it? Because its a massive industry supported by tv rights and gambling.

Btw, WSW will play against the European Champions Winner and they get to do it because they will win the Asian Champions Cup. You only get to play with the big boys every now and then by default but I guarantee you that Barcelona value WSW a lot more that Apoel. God bless Murdoch etc

Further to this, some of our Soccer Stadiums are actually 50,000 all seaters. I went to the Australian Open 2 years ago and they were building one in the shape of a soccer ball just opposite Rod Laver Arena which is right next to the MCG which is a 100,000 all seater. You can't compete against the Aussie sports machine full stop.

BTW DT, you've made the blunder of the century to cite Australia as a good comparison to Cyprus. You draw against Ajax and now you think you can play with the big boys.

Little did you know that WSW is bringing home a significant piece of silverware which is among the most prized trophies in Football. Oh boy! Are you sure you follow Football?

I'm really getting tired of handing your arse to you but here we go again....there's no player called Celeste in your squad mate.

As for drawing against Ajax....probably one of the results we're trying to forget. Apoel makes it a habit of beating teams like Lyon, Shaktar, Zenit, Porto...now run along. I don't want to embarrass you anymore.

That's really great. But most of the A League Clubs are less than 10 years old and they are building Stadiums like this some with closing roofs and worth more than a Billion Dollars:

When you get to that level and start signing Marquee players, then we can talk!

Problem with you DT and your argument is that teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Lazio have their yearly training camps in Australia and play the Australian Teams, but excuse me - you go to third rate Austria!

Will you be watching WSW bring home the silverware boys? 8)

You guys think that Football is not serious in Australia, well your mistaken.

Some of the biggest recorded crowds are from Soccer - up to 100,000 spectators in one stadium. Only Sao Paolo can compete with that! 8)

Australia is spending over 5% of the RoC's GDP in one stadium and you guys akoma tzimaste!

It's probably because he's a slave of the Zionists.
