is to make people believe in a cypriot citizenship

Who will make the people to believe....

Why to make the people to believe- the people have already a clear picture of who are they why someone has to change this? For peace? for cooperation? With whom? With the shelters and their Turkish army officers became Cypriots by guns? Why we the Greeks have to do so?

Is the World well governed? is the UN well organised to apply the general human rights ? If this was the case then no need for Greeks to change to Cypriots, the invators should take their shelters and go home, leaving the minority of Turks in Cyprus with the rights provided for minorities not as equal partners on the whole Island. Not allowing the invators and shelters to became majority in the minority.

The Cyprus government must withdraw the citizenship of all people staying and paying taxes in North. All citizens must have the same rights but also the same obligations. We can not continue to pay the invators with financial help from the pockets of the victims-this is redigulus.

i clearly reffered to citizenship and you still continue continue confusing the two terms..

and reffering to citizenship , yes cypriots know pretty well who they are. if they might (according to their political orientation ) disagree about nationality , they are pretty clear on their citizenship.

when i say "believe" i did not imply any religious type of meaning
its one of those things that i thought it was clear !!!

For peace? for cooperation?

YES!!!!
for what other reason ? !!!!
what greater virtue from peace !!!!

With whom? With the shelters and their Turkish army officers became Cypriots by guns?

with turkish cypriots.

Why we the Greeks have to do so?

any better proposals ?

anyway you greeks (reffering to the greek state ) , are smoothing your relations with turkey more than we do down here (which imo is a pretty clever moove)

Is the World well governed?

you really want an answer to this question ?

lets assume that it is not ? so, what do you propose ?

is the UN well organised to apply the general human rights ?

is the best humanity ever had.

If this was the case then no need for Greeks to change to Cypriots,

excuse me , but this is a rediculous conclusion. the UN has nothing to do with the cypriot state.

besides , your attempt to discredit the UN is also absurd. actually it is based on the UN resolutions that we base our future.

once again what do you propose ? forget about the UN ?
the invators should take their shelters and go home, leaving the minority of Turks in Cyprus with the rights provided for minorities not as equal partners on the whole Island. Not allowing the invators and shelters to became majority in the minority.

politics is not based on normative statements of the "should" kind.

that could have been the case if some "greeks" (eoka b and junta morons) didnot hand over half of this island to turkey. unfortunetely they created the bill and we ll pay the price.

TOTIS MILIOTIS, in Cyprus we have much more serious issues to deal with, rather than wasting our time dealing with yours and some others ethnic identity anxieties and complexes.

First and above all, we have to deal with finding a way to take off the "aggouri" that some others -thinking along your ways and acting in the name of the "nation" and under the "enosis" slogans, have shuffled in our arses; and who, instead of "enosis" with Greece have managed to open the gates to the Turks of Turkey and "sold" half of Cyprus to them!

Therefore, lets us first take off the cucumber that some nationalists like yourself have stuffed us with and we have to bear inside our arses for 33 years; and then we have time to deal with your "ambelosophies!" Our concern is to reverse and to end the complete Turkification of half of Cyprus, and not to promote Hellenisation for the remaining half! What you are suggesting to us is basically "na afisoume ton gamo tzie na pame gia pournaria," if you know this Greek proverb!

Therefore, please stop wasting our time!

My Dear Freind, You are absulute wromg. Personally i have nothing do do with EOKA B and ENOSIS.

I Consider myself one of the most democratic persons and my personal aim is not to promote Enosis or Greece intefear in Cyprus state.. What I am fifthing for is my right to say that I am A GREEK and not any pasterd Turkish soldier or Visitor of Cyprus as shetler to tell me that I am not allowed to say so.

I want, I dream, an independent Cyprus state where popularity is popularity and minority is minority- With all respective rights BUT ALSO WITH ALL RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS.

Nobody has the right to tell me or to other Greeks of Cyprus what we are or we must be. We are Greeks and we have to fight for this. We will never accept Britsish or Americans propaganda about a Cyprus Natioin, There is not such a thing.

I f you like to be just Cypriots not Greeks or Tureks then London is suitable for you - leave us, the 95 per cent to stay in our land shouting WE ARE GREEKS.!!!! If someone of you consider my positios as Facist and related to any EOKA B or Junta You are making a big mistake. There are , fortunately, Thousands of Greeks is Cyprus who are not ready to sell their sol to Your propaganda and fell complex because some fanatics created a problem in 1974.

If we follow your position then all Greeks of mainland Greece should changed Nationality because they had a Junta in 1967.

Are the Turkish Cypriots staying in occupied areas, are they pay taxes tro the occupy authority? How it happens we , the victims, to pay their Electricity, why we have to support them in EU? Why we be the bridge for the survival of the "state " of invators ?

They have to pay the cost of their unlofull actions. They must be assoliated in order for them to understand that they are acting against the int law.

Why, me, you, your father, my father, has to pay money in order the Turkish army bases in North has electricity , water, streets etc?

Take off the citizensh of all peopele accepting to stay and pay taxes to the invasion army. This not an EOKA B opinion. is just a pure, honest, GREEK OPINION and feeling

TOTIS MILIOTIS, in Cyprus we have much more serious issues to deal with, rather than wasting our time dealing with yours and some others ethnic identity anxieties and complexes.

Dear friend,

the complex is yours,

You consider that you know everything. This creates your certain attitude. Yes my freind, if you wish to speak about the Cyprus problem then you have to indedify who we are and who they are. This is the basic subject creating any other problem.

WASTING YOUR TIME? Therefore you can spend beneficially your time to find ways to prove that we are brothers we Turks. This is the waste of time. Because you just not a brothr with the Turkish soldier or shellter or even olsdest shelter of Ottoman empire (Turkish Cypriots). You are to absolute different kind of people and what id hert me more is that i do not see any respondences of Turks in this shat , i do not feel very well to try to convist you that you are Greek. You want it or not YOU ARE!
