Georgio, I am sorry if you think I insulted your feelings in any way. I simply tried to portray the latest biology has to offer on the subject of evolution. It is very interesting that you are at the same school Darwin made his first steps. You should tell us more of this school and your experiences. Your issue of the so called missing link is not significant really in this argument. I suggest you read, if you have some time, I very good book written by Douglas J. Futuyma. I think you will find many of your answers. Its titled "evolutionary biology".

Kifeas does tend to ride the moral high grounds lately and perhaps this is an indication that he has given up hope. It is like a terminally ill person who has nothing to lean on and rests his hopes on god, who might not exist, for help.

I too believe that a monolithic society would not only destroy poikilomorhism but will turn us into social animals of the kind of bees. That is the reason whenever Kifeas reminds me that in little wee Cyprus, at present, I am in the minority, I take much pride. The problem is, he thinks being in the minority it automatically means that your ideas are wrong. This thought has no philosophical support.

If u do not understand what I am talking about is not my problem.

The "flag" point. You do have the British flag on the side don' t you?

What am I smoking? I don' t know. I expect your help on the issue. What do u smoke when considering high respected the Cypriots? As a whole? Who cares about them? That scientist in NASA... it is his own acheivment not of Cyprus. George Michael? Yes Cyprus is very proud about his gloriois son! I wonder whether he can find the island on the map.

And since you did not catch the argument, let me explain you about the 2nd and 3rd class rate... it is a different story for someone to leave a country to evolve academically and socially and another story trying to escape his poverty and remain after 3 generations the "high respected" owhner of fish & chips.

Further, there is nothing common when comparing those who emigrateD in USA with those in UK.

rubbish?

Yeap. I feel so offended by a British, Cypriot "I don' t know who the f... I am. Please unify my island to visit it for my next summer holidays"

What do u find confused Kifeas and what is nonesense to you?

It is as if something makes sense to you provided only if in accord with your views.

The point of Babaniot is fundamental for your much apprecieated democracy. I have the feeling that he knows from experience being in the minority recently (April 2004). I am sure he is in that "fine" position of seeing the "madness" aroung him. And I am not have in mind those voting "no", it was so easy to do it, but the atmosphere surrounding that negative vote and mostly the attempt to extinguish different opinion in "democratic" terms "always".
