I've been told that there is no point in bring a TV set from England as it won't work in Cyprus. Since the person who told me this runs a TV shop in Limmasol, I thought I'd check here first.

i bought my phillips tv from england and it works fine...i think it depends on the age of the set...

My sister bought her Phillips TV from the UK and that too is fine. I have a Toshiba and that needed to be converted.
