the real danger - pakistan

Postby cypezokyli » Wed Jul 11, 2007 8:53 am

while the US has been attacking iraq for non-existing WMDs , and while is wasting huge amaound of energy to put pressure on iran, which is years away from pocessing any, the real danger comes from a good friend.

the support for the military coup of musharaf in 1999, is obviously backfiring.
the dictator, has been ofcource loyal to the US, and has helped in the "war against terror". that made everyone happy, and they all conviniently ignored human rights, and his dictatorical rule.

the last days, islamists students have been staging a revolt. the army attacked, creating new martyrs.

to support a dictator is never a good choice. the US should have knoen that better. how can anyone exclude the possibility that some fanatics will (sooner or later ) receive enough support from the people to overthrow him ?

problem is.... the pakistanis have the bomb.

The biggest mistake that the US made was to allow Pakistan the opportunity of becoming a Nuclear power .
This of course happened during the Soviet days and the cold war , and allowing Pakistan the nuclear capability in order to counter effect the Indian one , India was of course supported by the Soviets.
The fact that Pakistan has the bomb , and presumably can use it , should not mean that the USA , should there be in Islamic takeover of Pakistan , will just sit and watch as India reacts in a fashion likely to bring the two , Pakistan and India , into a confrontation. The danger is not Musharaf , but the Islamic fanatics .
We have heard once again the second in command to Osama Bin Laden making threats and sending warnings of mass murders in the UK , this from a man that many consider as religious and god fearing !! Blood thirsty savage more likely , does not even stop to think that the UK is the home of millions of Muslims the vast majority descent law abiding hard working family people, and it is time that they stood up and voiced their support for law and order
and strongly condemn those that are engaged in planning the horendous acts whose only aim is to kill and cause as much carnage as possible. However , alot of them , just like GR and Eliko , are not condemning these acts outright and when they do the "BUT" or "Lets examine the cause "comes into it. This sort of behaviour encourages these beasts and lets them know that SOME people are behind them because their acts are justifiable.

Have you not seen ANYONE of the muslim faith condemn these actions? Many have and the rest are doing what the police ask them to do and live like a part of the community andf be vigilant. Do you want a muslim war on the streets of the UK because that is what you are asking for. It was a muslim that raised the alarm about the car bomb and saved many lives...did you know that?

The US is the world's most agressive country and has USED the bomb twice. Israel is the second most agressive country in the world and has had the bomb from the mid 50s but hasn't used it just yet and you worry about Pakistan?

Is this the start of another "Let's invade Pakistan to eliminate WMD's!" like in Iraq?

AIPAC doesn't worry you but Pakistan does???

I for one can not find it in me to trust Musharraf. I suspect he helps the UK based muslim fanatics. If he is supported by the US, that gives me more reason to doubt, I am afraid.

Like bees to honey , any one of your mates criticized and the dreaded affects of americanodaxtilo takes over. How many other nations troops have in the last 20 or so years stormed a holy place killing bloody fanatics , and you you can say is the bloody Americans. Well here it from this Cypriot who is proud to state IM AN AMERICAN .

Cant you not see that if Musharraf was to fall and the Islamists were to take over in Pakistan there would be a nuclear catastrophe waiting to happen , and happen it will .
So the Americans are terrorists as per your Hero the right honourable Bin Laden , and you have been taken in by the Al Qaeda ideology. Hate America as much as you like , but America MUST remain super power for generations to come for all our sakes.

They do say the bigger the chip on shoulder the greater the hatred for the USA.

LONG LIVE AMERICA AND THE WEST.
