Lawyer ‘trapped’ by T. Cypriot police

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby brother » Thu Mar 10, 2005 6:46 pm

I read this today, but if anything like this happens it will come right back at them as they are currently using tc properties, the unfortunate truth is some only see the other sides mess but not their own.

Thankyou for your answer to my simplistic arguements but your response was very typical and confirmed why we cannot agree on anything and should stay partitioned.
I tired to make it simple so you could try and understand our deeper fears which eminates from not trusting Gcs and their true intentions, if I were to put it in even more simple terms WE DONT TRUST GCS AND WE DONT WANT TO LIVE WITH THEM.
We would rather live in our squalid, poor, unrecognised state as so many GCs call it, in limbo for the next zillion years than be forced to agree any solution that would mean living with and being dominated by GCs.
Have you ever considered that your loss of land sea line resources may just be the price you have to pay for your pre 1974 actions???

Its all so easy to rubbish the Annan plan becasue you feel it didnt work in your favour and your aspirations (you have a everyone is out to get the GCs mentality) for a EU solution and a set of crocodile tears swayed your better judgement, good thing it did I say, it lets us off the hook and gave us the opportunity to revaluate uniting with GCs , many TCs have now hardened and seen that any solution however favourable for us will in time be eroded by GCs with ulterior motives to control the whole of island and reduce us into a minority status.

You have a great deal to learn about TCs.

my guess is that most TCs dont think as ignorantly and bitterly as you do viewpoint. of course i think most people would agree that its ok to officially refer to you as sh!tpoint from now on.

Since most of the opinion poll data contradicts your assertion, I think we can safely say that you're expressing a minority view VP.

TCs have had a belly full of GCs views, objections, viable solutions etc etc from the comments on this forum you can quite clearly see Im right, the only difference between me and other TCs is that I speak up.
The best solution for us especially after the referendum is now partition and I feel Mr Papadop will gradually move towards a velvet partition revealing to his people with a tear or two that it is the best option for everyone.

Which opinion poll confirms TCs trust GCs......?

Viewpoint,

Don't expect to not pay a price for partition. There will NEVER be an agreed partition because the price to be paid is far too high for all concerned.

You are right and I agree there will be a price to be paid by both communities but dont you agree it will be a clean solution which will end all this uncertainty and mistrust, arguements and counter arguements, we have proved that the current situation can go on forever, we are no closer to a solution than we were 10 years ago and in 15 years time we will still be arguing and disagreeing, a good example is our YES vote even this is belittled and downgraded to a "you keep talking about your YES but you didnt really want reunification" seeing that world also supported the Annan plan and confirmed it was a comprehensive solution we had the courage to say YES, GCs should not try to justify their NO by saying we didnt really mean we want reunification. Why continue with this constant negativity on a road to nowhere.
