And you will find Indonesia on the eastern side of the earth. The major cities of Indonesia are Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Saibil. As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side of Saibil, at approximately 5:30 am local time, Fajar Azaan begins. Thousands of Muazzins in Indonesia begin reciting the Azaan. The process advances towards West Indonesia . One and a half hours after the Azaan has been completed in Saibil, it echoes in Jakarta .. Sumatra then follows suit and before this auspicious process of calling Azaan ends in Indonesia, it has already begun in Malaysia ..

Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its beginning in Jakarta, it reaches Dacca, the capital city of Bangladesh . After Bangladesh , it has already prevailed in western India , from Calcutta to Srinagar . It then advances towards Bombay and the environment of entire India resounds with this proclamation. Srinagar and Sialkot (a north city in Pakistan ) have the same timing for Azaan. The time difference between Sialkot , Quetta , and Karachi is forty minutes, and within this time, Fajar Aazaan is heard throughout Pakistan . Before it ends there, it has already begun in Afghanistan and Muscat.

The time difference between Muscat and Baghdad is one hour. Azaan resounds during this one hour in the environments of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas (Holycities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen , United Arab Emirates , Kuwait and Iraq. The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria in Egypt is again one hour. Azaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt, Somalia and Sudan during this hour. The time difference between eastern and western Turkey is one and a half hours, and during this Alexandria and Tripoli (capital of Libya ) are located at one hour's difference. The process of calling Azaan thus continues throughout the whole of Africa . Therefore, the proclamation of the Tawheed" and "Risaalat" that had begun in Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of the Atlantic Ocean after nine and half hours.

Prior to the Aazaan reaching the shores of the Atlantic, the process of "Zohar Azaan" has already started in east Indonesia , and before it reaches Dacca , "Asr Azaan" has started. This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later, the time of "Maghrib" becomes due, and no sooner has "Maghrib" time reached Sumatra , the time for calling "Isha Aazaan" has commenced in Saibil! When the Muazzins of Indonesia are calling out "Fajar Azaan", the African Muazzins are calling the Azaan for Isha.

If we were to ponder over this phenomenon thoughtfully, we would conclude the amazing fact that there is not even a single moment when hundreds of thousands of Muazzins around the world are not reciting the Azaan on the surface of this earth. Subhaan Allah !!!

Even as you read this material right now, you can be sure there is Azaan somewhere !!!

Alhumdulillah

Sqamers.

You really have lost the plot.

You have ducked and dived the questions, you've trotted out Sharia quotations, you have threatened me as FITNA for being mischievious, you have brought Islam to the members of this board and exposed all its ugly traits to be broadcast, and to go back to your original posting: -

YOU MUST KNOW THIS MAN - MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE UPON HIM)

What have you done? Are you happy with what you have achieved! You have exposed Islam for what it is, an ugly primitive set of believes that have no relevance to the modern world.

Within 40 years this faith will die, either by exposure to technology and the enforcement of Human Rights Legislation or the by the mad actions of Muslim Leaders of nation states declaring war on the infidels in a rash nuclear rush and have the wrath of the west put paid to their deeds in retaliation.

Where would you pray then Sqamers, when that black pagan rock is no more in that blue flickering crater is all thats left of Mecca ?

One way or another, you are not the future!

If your world dream ever happened, there would be no future.

Barbarism, stagnation, peoples dreaming of the civisilation before this worldwide caliphate.

Then revolution, war, slaughter and destruction as the human spirit sought to overthrow the oppresive dead Sharia law and its masters.

Is that what you want? Is that what you are striving to achieve by your inane rantings.

You are a jinn Sqamers, you are one of us. You are destined to betray all you promote. Look at the responses you have provoked over the last few pages.

What have you done for the cause of Islam on this board? Look around you, how many converts?

How many visitors to this board will be convinced looking at what you have brought to their attention?

What next Sqamers? Are you going to parade up and down outside Limassol Mosque screaming for Jihad?

Is there no master, no Shaik? Who can take this fool in hand, who would sell his religion like some travelling

salesman to all and sundry and expose it to their mocking?

Good night, Sqamers (peace be upon you) I think you're going to need it!

I have frequently asked you about the young man in Afghanistan sentenced to death by the islamic court, you have failed to answer despite repeated requests, all you do is post extracts from the 'Dandy' & 'Beano'

Do you honestly think that people realy want to go back in time and live in squalor as thay do in most arabic and asian countries, what a religion that deliberately holds back progress so that it can keep control of people.

You have failed to answer my question.

Does Sharia law have a concept of 'rape', or does it have a concept of 'adultery'? Sharia simply specifies whom a man may have sex with, the question of whether it is consensual or not (which is the defining point of the concept of 'rape' as we in the West understand it) does not exist.
If a soldier has sex with a female captive without the consent of the latter, this in the West is known as 'rape'. Under Sharia, this woman as a war captive is 'one whom the right hand possesses', and no crime has been committed.

If you wish, as you put it, to 'dispel my misundersandings concerning Islam', can you once and for all provide an explanation of this concept of 'one whom the right hand possesses'.

Muslims claim:
1 The words of the Quran are literally words which were spoken by God to mankind through the medium of the prophet Muhammad.
2 Islam is the final and true religion, and it contains a message that is valid for the whole of humanity until judgment day.

Based on the above premises, everything in the Quran must be of relevance to the modern day world. As I have already shown in a previous post with a whole list of quotes from the Quran, God makes very frequent reference to this concept of "those whom the right hand possesses" when laying down these laws that supposedly apply to all people at all times. So please explain the meaning of this concept and its significance to the modern age and specifically for countries where the institution of slavery has long since been abolished.

Until you do so, it is impossible to explore the concept of rape, because it is inextricably bound up with the notion of a 'right-hand possession' which permits men to engage in non-consensual sex with women to whom this classification has been applied.

Qamersland, your comments on this article would be welcome:

Rape and Islamic Sharia
Robert Spencer provides a very nice explanation of the origins of the absurd four witness requirement for cases of rape. The outcome of this requirement is, as you will see below, that it is virtually impossible to charge a man with rape under the sharia:

Pakistan’s President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq (1977-1988) implemented the Hudood Ordinances in 1979. Hudood crimes are those considered most serious in Islamic law. These laws returned the crime of rape to the realm of Islamic law, making a rape victim liable to being prosecuted for adultery if she could not produce four male Muslim witnesses who would testify that they had actually witnessed the rape.

This law comes from the Qur’an. Accusations of adultery against Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, and Muhammad’s desire to exonerate her brought about the requirement that four male Muslim witnesses must be produced in order to establish a crime of adultery or other sexual indiscretions: “Why did they not produce four witnesses? Since they produce not witnesses, they verily are liars in the sight of Allah” (Qur’an 24:13; see also 24:4 and Bukhari, vol. 3, book 52, no. 2661).

Aisha’s own word counted for nothing to establish the falsity of the accusations against her -- so to this day Islamic law restricts the validity of a woman’s testimony, particularly in cases involving sexual immorality. Says the Qur’an: “Call in two male witnesses from among you, but if two men cannot be found, then one man and two women whom you judge fit to act as witnesses; so that if either of them commit an error, the other will remember” (2:282). And Islamic legal theorists have restricted women’s testimony even farther, limiting it to, in the words of one Muslim legal manual, “cases involving property, or transactions dealing with property, such as sales” (‘Umdat al-Salik, o24.8). Otherwise only men can testify.

Consequently, it is even today virtually impossible to prove rape in lands that follow these Sharia provisions. As long as men deny the charge and there are no witnesses, they get off scot-free, because the victim’s account is inadmissible. Even worse, if a woman cannot produce four male witnesses, she may end up incriminating herself simply by making the charge: she has by charging a man with rape made an admission of adultery. That accounts for the grim fact that, according to the Muslim feminist group Sisters in Islam, as many as seventy-five percent of the women in prison in Pakistan are, in fact, behind bars for the crime of being a victim of rape.

Here's a new one on me. The sentence of "having your eyes gouged out" under Sharia law. Qamersland, is that what you would have us live under in Cyprus, Britan or any Western country. We have civilisation. Sharia law - no thanks.

Indian appeals eye gouging sentenceFrom correspondents in Riyadh
December 26, 2005 07:00am

THE lawyer for an Indian migrant worker sentenced to have his eye gouged out as punishment by a Saudi Arabian court said he has launched a new appeal against the verdict.

The original sentence, handed down in August, "is not definitive, the Riyadh court of appeal having not yet confirmed it", Nawaf al-Mutawa said, adding that "any recourse to (calls for) clemency" is premature.
New Delhi announced on Friday it had sent a "mercy petition" calling on Riyadh to pardon the worker, Puthen Veetil Abdul Latheef Noushad, sentenced for blinding a Saudi national in 2003.

Human Rights Watch earlier this month also called for Saudi King Abdullah to grant royal clemency.

"Such declarations make the verdict seem definitive, which is not the case," said Mr Mutawa.

Under Saudi law, if the appeals court confirms the verdict, the supreme court must then look at the verdict, which, if approved, can only be carried out following a decision by the king, Mr Mutawa said.

Noushad, 32, had been working at a petrol pump in Dammam on the Saudi east coast since 1995. He had a fight with a Saudi customer over payment in April 2003 that put him in jail.

The Saudi man later lost his eyesight, but the Indian said it was not because of the injuries he inflicted, and that he had acted in self-defence.

Noushad in 2004 filed a review petition in the Saudi Court of Appeals, which can ask a victim for a pardon, but the victim has refused to settle for monetary compensation.

More than one million people from the southern Indian state of Kerala work in the Gulf countries.

Saudi Arabia applies a strict form of Islam, which includes also meting out the death penalty for murder, rape, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking, and cutting hands for theft. Public flogging and stoning to death are the penalties for extramarital sexual relations.
