hi im new to this forum and also cyprus,i will be flying out to paphos on wednesday . i have quite a few questions if anyone can advice i would be grateful.
1.what is best currency to take,euro here is only 130 is it better to change in cyprus,or would it better to use atm machines (is there any)or take gb pounds.
2.Any ideas what prices will they be charging in euros ie
local pint of beer
3 course meal
english breakfast
and general other items
will there be many places open in paphos
AND MOST OF ALL ANY ONE KNOW WHERE I WILL GET TO WATCH THE newcastle v MAN CITY game on weds night...thankyou all

change your money in north cyprus £1= 1.40 Euro
Nothing to do in south cyprus . Go to Kyrenia and you will have nice time

Many Turks like GAVCARoCOM will try and mislead you if you encounter them. I would not have made this post but for his above comment.

Remember the north is an illegally occupied territory, mostly resident to property thieves and supporters of ethnic cleansing.

Paphos is fantastic and so is the rest of free Cyprus, so have a great time . . . and I do believe Cyprus will be Euros when you get there.

i think i was wrong . if you dont have enough money i think paphos will be better for you. because in north lot to do and its cost as well. prices are cheaper then south but still smilar but trust me kyrenia is like monte carlo and paphos is like a village .
