"humanist not many GCs will return to a TC administered area "
We are forgetting the size of the island and the travelling time needed to go from one side of the island to the other. The point is not residence VP, the point is property ownership and possession. I may live in Nicosia and still own, possess and enjoy property in Karpasia. This is more important than residence.
It is practical everyday matters that decide residence and it is unlikely there will be major changes under BBF. People have organized their lives and things will remain as they are mostly, at least that is what I think. But business activities will move in new directions for both communities when they regain control of their properties all over the island. So a TC will stay in the north but will deal with his land in the south and gain a respectable income from it.
Forcing wholesale property exchanges encourages corruption and concentration of wealth in the hands of a few people in both communities. The people with cash will step in and take advantage, this much should be obvious to every Cypriot.
