Shall I take it as a clever question or not? :?

Tcs are CyR/EU citizens.

I am a TC and i am not an EU citizen, some of my friends are also TCs but apparently they are not even eligible to an EU membership by the so called "RoC", they honestly don't have a clue and who are they to decide.

Yet ignorant baboons such as this Marcos guy can get up there and shout such crap while getting the support of people like yourself, hence why you are just as bad.

On the other hand, who would expect a sportsman to have any brains in the first place, it is their nature that they are generally the epitome of fanaticism. :?

ANOTHER SAD ATTEMPT BY TURKISH FANATICS TO BRING DOWN ANYTHING GREEK / CYPRIOT AND SUCCESSFUL. EVERY GREEK OR CYPRIOT IS A THUG IN THIS CASE BECAUSE WE ALL SHOUT THE SAME THINGS. IF TURKISH CYPRIOTS WANT TO BE KNOWN AS JUST TURKS WELL THAT HAS SHOWN US THEIR TRUE INTENTIONS. I KNOW TURKISH CYPRIOTS WHO EVEN WANT TURKS OUT OF CYPRUS!!! TURKEY IS HOLDING US BACK FROM OUR HOMES AND HERITAGE - THEY ARE THE RACISTS! THEY ARE THE ONES WHO CLEANSED PARTICULAR ETHNITIES FROM THEIR HOMES!

LETS TALK ABOUT EMRE - THE NEWCASTLE UNITED AND TURKEY INTERNATIONAL WHO IS NOTORIOUS IN ENGLISH FOOTBALL TO CALL BLACK PLAYERS RACIST NAMES - HE THOUGHT IT WAS OK TO DO SO BECAUSE IT WAS ALLOWED IN TURKEY HE IS A REAL RACIST. GET A LIFE YOU SAD FOOLS - YOU KNOW MARCOS IS NOT BEING RACIST!!

Well you might have a point otherwise pantheman, but the main difference would be, the people who put the flag up there, i believe, is the army, and this guy is just a person acting at his own will. So going by your logic, if you think the actions of the TRNC army represents "us" then this Marcus guys represents "you", this indeed would make us a hypocrite. And lets not even talk about the amount of nationalist propaganda one must endure while simply crossing a checkpoint in Nicosia.

But my initial point was not exactly that, although some people here, ie. Mr. Capital Letters up there, blame us for thinking that we are Turkish not Cypriot, there are many people like my best friend, who has never left this island in his life and hates the Turkish immigrants as much as the next GC, is not eligible to be a "Cypriot" according to the RoC, simply because the father that he lost when he was 5, was Turkish.

So explain me that please? I'm pretty sure he is not very unique with his status.

Just in case you think its an anti turk thing, well I can show you its not.

I cannot be 'cypriot ' either because I cannot prove my father was born in Cyprus as I cannot get his Birth certificate. When actually both my parents are Cyprus born from the Karpass region.

You are not on your own, I guess rules are rules mate. It stinks I know but there you have it.

Well nationality doesn't go by the rules of some other government man, it shouldn't anyways, what is the man supposed to do?

Move to a country he has never been to simply because the RoC says so? Don't you think that's some proper bullshit?

That's some seriously twisted logic and i am not sure if i want to submit to the architects of such mentality.

RoC is no different to the UK or any other European country. They all have similar laws with regards to immigration.

...and im not the one labeling you Turks not Turkish Cypriots...your doing it yourselves.

"Well nationality doesn't go by the rules of some other government man, it shouldn't anyways"

But that is precisely how nationality is regulated, which is why my wife of 30 years cannot get Cypriot nationality. Tough breaks happen. In any case, if your friend's mother is Cypriot he is Cypriot according to the latest rules.
