Happy Independence Day Celebrations to all my Greek brothers and sisters, to all the world's Philhellenes and lovers of Freedom and Human Rights!

None of us can boast we are free from the Turkish Yoke until we are all free ... and until that day, we shall keep the spirit of Freedom alive! :D

Bananiot wrote:Bouboulina was Albanian, just like Miaoulis and Kanaris. Odysseas Androutsos too and many others. The Souliotisses, who danced the Zaloggo dance and willingly jumped over the cliffs rather than surrender to the Turks, spoke only Albanian.

Ther above is dedicated to all sick nationalists of the forum.

And what an Albanian she was!

Of course, only a racist would post something like that. Or are you saying that all Cypriots or Greeks who celebrate 25th March are nationalists and racist.

I think you should explain your folly.

You are not being asked to celebrate anything ... but it won't do you any harm to learn that a lot of the Greek Freedom Fighters of 1821 (including Boumboulina) helped Russia against the Otto-Turks. :D

Traitorous Ottoman subjects have a lot to answer for. The Ursines have even more to answer for.

Congratulation to Greece and their celebrations, but Cyprus? They got it and henceforth threw it away. What a tragedia.

why do we have tp celebrate some other countries independence day?

Because of twisted sick individuals like Oracle, who have no sense of identity of their own, it reminds me of kids who are rubbish at fighting, but cry that they have a much bigger better brother at home who they will call on to back them up!

And so, you have set about making your wishes come true ...

Do either of your longed for scenarios bring about better future prospects for Cyprus?

As always GR!, you fail to correctly identify the pivotal elements of our problem.

A little while ago I asked you what your problem was with Greece, you declined to answer. Now I notice that you have publicly revealed all, and since it is an affair of the heart, I can't help but forgive your obstinate attitude...

I’ve fallen head over heels for an illegal settler Turk originally from Ankara, and since that fateful day I now realize that…

Greece SUCKS!

Long live Turkey! :D

Could someone please point to where I can buy a Fez? :?

 OMG ... Get Real! said that!!!!

I heard he was frequenting the Hammams but I had no idea he had fallen in love with one of their male settler-scrubbers. Explains his desire to gift Cyprus' identity to the Turks, though.

What a revelation for Independence Day .... GR! is a Harem Queen!
