Barbers in Paphos

Postby wulliemcmartin » Mon May 12, 2008 9:42 am

Morning Everyone.

I'm coming to Cyprus in August to get married.

I'm staying at the athena beach hotel, and was wondering if there is a decent barber near by so i can get a proper shave & the hair cut.

Just to cut down on the luggage not having to bring shaving gear & clippers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

My advice if for the bride to be so here goes…

Get yourself a future husband that has actually got a brain.

ie: One that can have a haircut before his flight and purchase a razor & foam when in Cyprus.

I read that George Michael flies to Cyprus to get a haircut with some excellent barber.

My hubby also rates the barbers over here above the slapdash ones in the UK.

So the groom should not be deterred, by these two forum scruffs

However, I can't help with the request .....

(I am sure the hotel could sort you out, though :? )

Imagine ripping a newbie on the forum.

tsk tsk.

anyway, i keep my hair very short and need to trim it with clippers. after 10 days it'll be long and fuzzy, usually i shave it every week, and i can't be bothered bring clippers, charger etc etc.

and i was also wanting to have a proper shave, proper razor, proper barber..

just thought someone on here would be able to point me to a barber.

You’re not the first or the last… :)

But anyway, all you have to do is step out of the hotel and ask the first dark-haired passer-by...

Eshi ganenan gourio thame giro?”

(Blue indicates vowel of emphasis in pronunciation)

Meaning…”Is there a barber nearby?”
