pls imidiently i need tickets ,did they sell out?

Antonis Papdopoulos is a small stadium only fits 10,000 which is why they prefer it now for a claustophobic atmosphere for the away team.

I went yesturday and they only had the 20 & 25 Euro tickets left. The CFA is on the same road as the Hilton Park Hotel right near the Cadillac dealership.

Unfortunately Mihalis and Aloneftis are not completely ready and fit yet since they went through a long spell negotiating with new clubs and staying out of training.

It looks like it will be Makrides on the left, Charalampides on the right and Hrysis holding in the centre. A complete APOEL midfield :D

Makrides is the killer these days, watch this little guy apparently since he moved to the Ukraine this year he has improved a great deal and has been scoring in nearly every game for Mettalurg despite being a winger.

Cruel way to finish, but Cyprus were sloppy at the end. They should have scored 6. Final score Cyprus 1 Italy 2.

Unbelievably unlucky last night...bit of experience and those chances would've gone in, e.g. Christofi in the 2nd half. Doesnt help when the ref ignores a stonewall penalty in the 1st half too.

They shuold feel proud of themselves, they played extremely well.

Antonis Papadopoulos has to be the sh***est stadium in the world.

The team played as usual magnificently. On the right track for qualification cause I don't see what Ireland, Bulgaria, Georgia or Montenegro have that we should be scared of. Come to think of it after Saturday night I don't see how Italy are better either.

Champions Italy leave it late in Cyprus

LARNACA, Cyprus (AP) -- World champions Italy snatched a fortunate 2-1 Group 8 World Cup qualifying victory in Cyprus when Antonio Di Natale scored his second goal in the second minute of added time in Larnaca.

Di Natale grabbed the winner in the second minute of added time.

Italy coach Marcello Lippi told Italy's RAI state TV that his team "got more than we deserved."

Di Natale's winner came when he received a lob and fired the ball past Cyprus goalkeeper Antonis Giorgallidis from close range.

Italy survived an early offensive surge from Cyprus to score first in the eighth minute when Di Natale struck a low powerful shot from outside the box.

Cyprus equalized in the 28th when Efstathios Aloneftis picked up a loose ball from a goalmouth scramble and sent it past Gianluigi Buffon.

Lippi said: "We suffered against an opponent that was in good physical condition. There are no longer teams where you just go out and win. We were a little lucky in the end, but a little luck is welcome now and then."

Lippi said things were made more difficult for him when injuries to Fabio Grosso and Alessandro Gamberini early in the match forced him to reconfigure the lineup.

Cyprus coach Angelos Anastasiades said he "was disappointed" with the result and took full responsibility for a loss that he felt the team didn't deserve.

"We played to win from beginning to end," Anastasiades told a news conference, adding his team allowed an "amateurish" goal in extra time.

"I don't like excuses ... There's no such thing as luck."

But bad luck hounded Cyprus throughout the match, with several missed opportunities that could have handed the world champions a shock result in front of a crowd of 8,500.
